Tregenna voted Best Hotel Cornwall and Best Wedding Venue Cornwall

We’re thrilled to announce some truly exciting news: we’ve been named as Finalists for the prestigious Large Hotel of the Year award and a commendation for Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Category at this year’s Cornwall Tourism Awards!  These recognitions means the world to us, as it celebrates everything we strive to achieve—providing an exceptional guest experience in a beautiful part of the world that we’re lucky enough to call home.

Nestled within our expansive 72-acre resort are now four hives, home to thousands of honey bees. We’re thrilled to bolster our sustainability efforts, which will benefit the environment, the local community (once honey production begins), and the resort itself. Bees play a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity. As pollinators, they are responsible for the reproduction of many plant species, which in turn supports a wide range of wildlife. By hosting beehives, Tregenna Castle Resort contributes to the health of local ecosystems. The presence of bees ensures the proliferation of native flowers and plants, fostering a rich and diverse habitat for other insects, birds, and small mammals.
