We have taken the very difficult decision to temporarily close the hotel with effect from 11am on Sunday 22nd March 2020.
James Parker, Operations Director said: “Although an extremely difficult decision, we have concluded that our only option is to close the whole hotel and will reopen again when the time is right. We needed to provide some much needed clarity for our customers and colleagues and to provide reassurances that we are preserving our energies for our successful, and sustainable, long-term future.
“We have taken these unprecedented steps as a direct response to the advice of the Government around ‘social distancing’ and our on-going duty to protect the health and the wellbeing of our customers and our teams within the business (Coronavirus advice). We will close our doors from 11am Sunday 22nd March, which will allow our current guests to make suitable and safe arrangements to travel home.
“Any customers with concerns about existing bookings and functions can communicate with us through email – hotel@tregenna-castle.co.uk. [updated on 24.3.20] Due to the address by the prime minister that we must now stay at home we have asked a small number of our reservations team to work from home. Therefore we are not dealing with any enquiry by phone. You can view our temporary updated policies here
“We are offering gift vouchers with the sentiment of ‘buy now, experience later’, and if you would like to purchase these to use when we are re-open, please click here.
“We would like to take this opportunity to tell all our customers, suppliers and their families that we hope you stay safe and well and thank our incredible team for their support and understanding during this extremely difficult period.”
