Braving the chop for charity
How our Reservations team raise over 1k and braved the chop for our chosen charity
As some of you may know, here at Tregenna, our chosen charity is the Cornish Air Ambulance, an amazing charity that relies on the public to fund their lifesaving missions and keep them flying. Since 2019, we have so far raised an incredible £4.7k for the charity with numerous different fundraising events run by our wonderful team.
Our most recent event took place on New Year's Eve 2021, where the brilliant Wendy and Geoff from our Reservations team, selflessly shaved off their long luscious locks. Their eager passion to support the charity has so far raised over £1,000 and their bravery is certainly an inspiration to all!
They have a Facebook Fundraiser page live until the beginning of March where you can continue to support them for their courageousness and donate to the charity.
Amazing work guys! You have made Tregenna proud!

The Sweet Buzz of Sustainability: Beehives at Tregenna Castle Resort
27 June 2024
Nestled within our expansive 72-acre resort are now four hives, home to thousands of honey bees. We’re thrilled to bolster our sustainability efforts, which will benefit the environment, the local community (once honey production begins), and the resort itself. Bees play a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity. As pollinators, they are responsible for the reproduction of many plant species, which in turn supports a wide range of wildlife. By hosting beehives, Tregenna Castle Resort contributes to the health of local ecosystems. The presence of bees ensures the proliferation of native flowers and plants, fostering a rich and diverse habitat for other insects, birds, and small mammals.
