A Royal Day to Remember
A Royal Day to Remember at Tregenna Castle Resort
Tuesday 6 May 2025 was a truly memorable day in the history of Tregenna Castle, as we had the honour of welcoming HRH The Princess Royal to the estate.
Her Royal Highness visited in her role as Royal Patron of the National Coastwatch Institution (NCI), meeting members of the dedicated team from NCI St Ives. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the vital work they do in keeping our coastline safe and supporting those at sea.
A day of recognition, connection, and pride for our community.
During her visit, The Princess Royal also took time to meet several local dignitaries, including the Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall, the High Sheriff of Cornwall, and the Mayor of St Ives. Their presence added to the sense of occasion and community spirit felt throughout the day.
We are incredibly proud to have hosted such a meaningful event — a day that will be fondly remembered by all involved and an important moment in Tregenna’s long-standing history.
