Celebrating Excellence: Our employee of the month scheme

We believe that our success is built on the hard work, dedication, and passion of our team members. To honour and recognise the outstanding contributions of our employees, we are thrilled to introduce our Employee of the Month scheme.

Nominations

Nominations can be made by peers, supervisors, or managers who recognise an individual’s outstanding efforts. Here’s how the process works:

  1. Submission: Nominations are submitted via email to our General Manager. The nominator provides specific examples of how the nominee has excelled in their role.
  2. Review: Senior management reviews all the nominations.
  3. Selection: After careful deliberation, Senior Management selects the Employee of the Month.
  4. Announcement: The chosen employee is announced and their achievements are highlighted in our internal communications, social media and this blog and the employee receives a bottle of Champagne.

We're thrilled to announce Dan as Tregenna's Employee of the Month in June!
Dan has earned this recognition through his unwavering dedication and hard work every single day. He's a true grafter and always stays until the job is done. Dan's willingness to tackle challenging tasks head-on, often working solo for days, showcases his exceptional commitment to our grounds.
His meticulous efforts behind the scenes, from cutting back hedges to clearing debris and everything in between, set the stage for our gardeners to create the beautiful landscapes that define Tregenna.

A huge congratulations to Russell for being named Employee of the Month at Tregenna!
Russell embodies professionalism in every interaction, whether he’s handling guest enquiries or ensuring seamless communication with all Heads of Department. His commitment always goes above and beyond!
Guests regularly express how much they "love Russell" for his warm personality and exceptional service at the front desk. We're so proud to have someone like Russell on our team who consistently delivers outstanding guest experiences. Keep shining, Russell!

Congrats to Izzie, our September Employee of the Month!

As part of our Food & Beverage team, Izzie’s friendly nature, impeccable service, and warm smile have made her a standout.

Here’s Izzie receiving an IOU bottle of Champagne from our F&B Manager, Stephane, which she can enjoy in a few weeks when she turns 18. Happy Birthday Izzie!

Please join us in celebrating Bryan Rescorla as Tregenna's Employee of the Month! 
 
Bryan joined us in June 2023 as part of the Leisure team and transitioned to the Kitchen in March 2024.
His cheery and friendly personality brings positivity to our team, and his behind-the-scenes efforts help keep Tregenna running smoothly for everyone to enjoy.
