Tregenna is the perfect location to celebrate a magical castle Christmas full of festive fun. We have created a spectacular three night programme which will take all the hassle out of your Christmas planning, allowing you to relax, indulge and enjoy the festivities. Join us from Tuesday 24th December for a fabulous 3 night family Christmas break where the food, decorations and entertainment have all been taken care of.

 

 

  • The Programme

    Christmas Eve

    • Arrive from 3pm and get settled into your accommodation.
    • Enjoy a Wine Tasting with Stéphane (soft drinks & mocktails available) - 16:00 - 17:00.
    • Christmas movie with popcorn for the kids (or the big kids amongst us) - from 18:00.
    • 3 Course Dinner in Godrevy View Restaurant - from 18:30 to 20:30.
    • Round Christmas Eve off with Carols around our tree with Nicole Tesseyman to get you in the festive mood for Christmas Day - from 20:30.

    Christmas Day

    • Welcome the big day with a hearty breakfast - From 07:30 to 09:30 with a visit from Father Christmas.
    • Take time to relax whilst we prepare your festive feast. Olives will be open from 10:00.
    • Join us for a welcome drink and canapés before settling in for the main event, the Tregenna Christmas Lunch - from 12:00.
    • Enjoy some boardgames and our Christmas table quiz.
    • Enjoy a slice of Christmas Cake while watching the King's Speech or a Christmas movie with popcorn for the kids - from 15:00.
    • As the evening draws in, enjoy a Cornish cold buffet with some cheese and port, all accompanied by Roger Miners on the piano - From 18:30

     

    Boxing Day

    • There is no rush to get up after the day before as we serve a relaxed breakfast between 08:00 & 10:30.
    • Enjoy St Ives or the local trails and beaches to clear the head.
    • For the brave, take part in the traditional Boxing Day charity swim on Porthminster Beach - From 12:00 (TBC).
    • Take part in our own charity 9 hole fancy dress golf competition - Silly prizes to be won.
    • Christmas movie with popcorn for the kids - from 15:00.
    • Enjoy a 3 course dinner in our Godrevy View Restaurant - from 18:30 to 20:30.
    • Finish the festivities with a bang. Enjoy a wonderful evening of entertainment from Chris Smart, playing Swing & Contemporary music to get you up and dancing.

    Friday 27th

    • Enjoy our lovely Tregenna breakfast before your journey home.

    Check in: 15:00 / Check out: 11:00

    Automatic prepayments are required in accordance with the payment plan- We will send reminders for payments to e-mail address provided at the time of at least 2 days before payment will be taken. All payments made are non-refundable. In the event of a missed payment, the hotel has a right to cancel the reservation.

Festive nights away

We know that with all the fun of Christmas, it can also become a little stressful at times too.  That's why we are offering a Room Only or Bed and Breakfast on a per night basis with the option to upgrade to our special dinner menus on the 24th, 25th  and 26th December.  So whether it's a relaxing escape before Christmas Day or post Christmas de-stress, we've got you covered.  Plus if you upgrade to one of our dinner options, dinner entertainment is included too!

Start your party early with a round of golf or use the pool before you dance the night away with our resident DJ. Enjoy a drink at Olives Bar overlooking beautiful St Ives whilst you wait for the night to begin.

  • Terms and Conditions
        • Contact our Events Team to book
        • Provisional bookings will be held for no longer than 1 week
        • A £15.00 per person non-refundable & non-transferrable deposit is required to confirm your booking (payment is to be settled by one person i.e. no individual payments from attendees)
        • Under no circumstances are deposits, part payments or full payments refundable or transferable except in the case of cancellation by the hotel
        • Final payment is required no later than 4 weeks prior to the event date (if the event is booked within 4 weeks prior to arrival, full payment must be made at the time of booking)
        • If payments are made via BACS the group name and event date must be used as a reference
        • We recommend that all bookings are made on minimum/confirmed numbers. Increasing numbers is subject to availability. Charges apply for decrease in contracted numbers (either loss of deposit, or loss of full balance if cancelled within 4 weeks)
        • Party nights will be cancelled if group numbers fall below x120 guests.
        • Food orders and dietary requirements must be received a month prior to the event date, or if the event is booked within a month of arrival, at the time of booking
        • All bookings are subject to availability

Christmas Lunch Specials throughout December

Available every Monday - Saturday from the 2nd - 23rd December, enjoy some additional festive lunch specials alongside our normal Olives Lunch menu.  Our lunches can cater for any table size and pre-booking is absolutely essential.

The Festive Afternoon Tea

There is nowhere better to indulge in an Afternoon or Cornish Cream Tea than at Tregenna and our Festive Afternoon Teas are absolutely unmissable. Our castle is set amidst 72 glorious acres of beautiful subtropical gardens and unspoilt woodlands with stunning sea views overlooking St Ives bay.
