If you’re joining us by the seaside this Easter, there are plenty of family-friendly activities taking place in Cornwall to keep everyone occupied. And yes, just like you, we’re hoping for some beautiful sunny weather!
Kids activities at Tregenna Castle Resort
Throughout the school holidays, we will be hosting a variety of Easter-themed activities to keep the whole family occupied. There will be plenty of opportunities for little ones to create special souvenirs from their Cornish holiday. Join us at 11:30 am on Easter Sunday 2021 and explore our 72-acre estate as we host our Easter egg hunt, which is free of charge for residents and diners.
The Curious Easter Trail at St Michael’s Mount
If you have little ones in tow, head for one of Cornwall’s most iconic destinations – St Michael’s Mount. Follow a trail of clues around the harbour and village to learn about the different characters who have visited, and the people that have called this Cornish landmark home. Once you’ve found all the answers you need, you’ll be rewarded with a delicious chocolate surprise.
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts in Cornwall
Cadbury has once again teamed up with its friends at the National Trust to offer an array of Easter egg hunts around the country. Guaranteed family fun, these fabulous days out always feature plenty of exciting activities, as well as lots of Cadbury’s chocolate! Several nearby National Trust properties are taking part, including Trelissick, Godolphin, Trengwainton Garden and Trerice, so be sure not to miss out on the festivities.
A walk along Porthmeor Beach
Just a stone’s throw from our front door, Porthmeor Beach is just one of many picturesque beaches we are lucky to have nearby. Whether the sun is shining, or it’s time to pop on the wellies, the beaches in St Ives are always the perfect destination for a family walk after a delicious lunch in The Brasserie.
One of Cornwall’s most popular destinations, the Eden Project, has planned a variety of fun-packed indoor and outdoor games and activities, designed to entertain the whole family. Gather up Golden Eggs from the egg coop, meet the Eden farmers and discover what makes our crops grow, and try your hand at winning some prizes, including chocolate treats, during your visit.
If you’ve not yet booked your Easter break in St Ives, you can choose what suits you best from our hotel rooms or self-catered accommodation and begin planning your Cornish adventure.
