The Reception
At Tregenna, the Trelawney Room is ideal for the larger wedding gathering and reception of up to 250 guests. The elegant Godrevy Room benefits from views of the bay and can accommodate up to 80 guests for the smaller gathering. At the reception there is usually a line-up to greet the guests to ensure that both families have the opportunity to welcome the guests. Most receptions begin with an aperitif served before the meal.
Toasts and speeches would normally take place at the end of the meal and would follow the cutting and distribution of the wedding cake.
Canapés are served to guests during the "arrival" drinks. Choose from a selection of our Chef’s Choice, hot, cold, sweet and savoury.
The Wedding Breakfast includes a starter, main course, dessert and coffee and mints. We have a fully comprehensive array of drinks packages and menu choices including vegetarian options, “younger guests
